Scott Bessent is choosing to fight the WW3 currency battle now because the 2020 lockdowns forced the entire world to enter the same 5 year debt cycle.

Global debt is financed in Dollars.
Every home, business and nation loan that was taken out in 2021-2022 now must be rolled over at significantly higher rates.

This will compound the Dollar shortage at the precise moment Scott Bessent is threatening to cut off financial institutions and nations from the supply of Dollars.

Bessent's Aug 24 quotes on Iran sanctions and the dollar system are accurate. COVID debt created a refinancing wave now at higher rates, with much EM debt in dollars that can tighten shortages under stress. Forced reserve sales can discount Treasuries, and buybacks retire them. But the deliberate "WW3 currency battle" timed for pennies-on-dollar US purchases is speculative without supporting evidence.

I agree with you but I also know that every country in the world will be buying US dollars until that happens. Everyone else’s economy is in much worse shape than America’s, and they use US$ to hide their money. As long as they want dollars, we are still going to move forward.

Many of us do not totally understand all the possible, probably and certain factors involved.

But we all understand “STOP OVERSPENDING IMMEDIATELY”. This is common sense. Types of overspending.

1) Congress spends money on programs we cannot afford, or which provide no economic benefit for the amount spent.

2) Fraud Waste Abuse of money on programs not intended by Congress.

Example: Congress intended to spend money to get people out of poverty. The War on Poverty is un-winnable.

Congress did not intend to spend money on welfare for the DEAD, DUPLICATES, Fraudsters to bill for services not provided, etc.

Congress needs to bite the bullet and cut back spending that is not beneficial. It will be painful. But it will be more painful if everything collapses. So it may be the lesser of 2 evils.

At the same time, the DOJ and IG and everyone in both the Federal and State executive branch need to be much more aggressive on the known fraud.

Should the DOJ spend more time on what Epstein & friends did in the past? Or on what is happening in 2026?

Should the DOJ spend more time on what happened in 2020? Or on what is happening in 2026?

Please look up a ranking of National Debt-to-GDP ratios for countries on planet Earth. We are in really bad shape compared to most other countries.

When the hyperinflation starts, it will be pretty incredible. Everything you have in dollars will be without value.
