GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County deputies arrested Lakeyra Ross, 43, of Gainesville Wednesday night after she allegedly assaulted and attempted to stab a man with an electric drill.
Deputies say Ross also pulled out a pocket knife during the fight and hit the victim multiple times in the head and neck area, causing deep cuts in the victim’s neck.
After trying to leave, Ross pulled the victim back by his undershirt before he eventually got away, running outside.
Once outside, Ross grabbed the drill and attempted to stab the victim in his shoulder, leaving a bruise on his shoulder consistent with a drill bit, according to deputies.
The victim lives with Ross, making the incident domestic in nature.
She is being charged with aggravated battery and assault.

Heard she had flashbacks to harsh military training from her “drill” sergeant. Fault of the memories of voices so she is not guilty.
Repeatedly stabbing him with a knife shows she watched cable cooking shows for technique, meaning defense will start a lawsuit against the networks for causing it all.
Finally, in court, she will dab her crying eyes and plead: “After all, I’m just a woman. We women are so weak and gentle. Let me go. Let me go.”
Ha. Now that is the one time I would allow the wimpy excuse of temporary insanity that the man was certifiably nuts to answer wrong, but in this case he’s the victim so no dice.
