I’m in the same state - over the hill and married to a woman who isn’t afraid to point out the “occasional” foible.
But one of the best things my Dad taught me was the ability to laugh at myself - that way I get to laugh several times a day no matter all the bad news happening.🥸
Since I have learned to laugh at myself I have never run out of humor.
