To: Leaning Right

I, too, feel that the national debt must be under control, but some say it is unimportant if I read things right. It is so high now, I have to wonder if it will ever be repaid. Wages are considerably higher now (for most) than when I retired, but even then, there is so much that is just unaffordable. Many young people are having trouble even getting started at a normal family situation & so we are apparrently losing young families. In their place are illegals, deadbeats, & many planning to be young single millionaires.

If we are serious about the national debt then we need to eliminate Social Security.

Trump is right not to bring that up because that is a political loser so for time being.

We'll just have to live with inflation.

I’ve read that, too. And it makes no sense at all.

I graduated high school many decades ago. Back then there were all sorts of mills and factories in my region. So a kid from a poor background could get himself a decent job, and work his way into the middle class.

Those factories are all gone now. And so is much of the middle class.

A key component of MAGA was to bring industry back to the United States. Is that happening? If so, I don’t see it in my hometown.
