Too bad we cannot bring back the Founders to comment on this - something tells me that they would say that was EXACTLY why they excluded women from voting.
There is an old episode from “Bewitched” called “My friend Ben.” where (adorable!) Aunt Clara messes up a spell, and brings Benjamin Franklin to modern day (1966) and he puts rude people and hippies in their place.
He also is amazed by a Fire Truck, because after all, it was his idea!
