Remember the beaches in LA during covid and the mask mandate? Cape May has made cops babysiters with the new law. And even if they go to the top limit of the fine, $2K, for a while the criminal intent of the minors out there will not have any effect as the parents of these animnals don’t care or want to be responsibile. So any impact will be down the road when money and a little jail time for the minor isn’t scary. They were going to jail anyway with what they were already doing and the gangs have a lot more than the fine in their petty cash.
