Almost certainly the case. I strongly doubt there is a breeding population of red-bellied piranha in that lake.

Question is, are there any more....and if so, how many?

One misconception about pirranha though, contrary to what the movies would have used believe, very few species are carnivorous.

Wonder if the city or state will poison the entire lake to get rid of the invaders - as California did in 1997 and 2007:

"In October 1997, the California Department of Fish and Game treated Lake Davis with rotenone to eliminate invasive northern pike, which threatened native trout and downstream salmon populations in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

Every fish species in the reservoir died in the process.

The poison from the operation leaked into a nearby creek, and residents near Lake Davis, outraged over the environmental damage won a $9.2 million damages settlement from the state. The treatment failed to solve the problem it was designed to fix.

The Feds will go crazy for one of these invasive species but bring in millions of low IQ violent inbred rapefugees and dump them in every city in the country.

If it is the lake in ridley park, and not some lake in ridley creek state park, then it is the lake out in front of my house.

When people with exotic pets get tired of them they have a tendency to let the “pet” go. Some of these fish have been found in Florida.
