The bi election was called because Farage dropped out thinking he could reset the clock on his corruption investigation.

Then, typical sore winner, too cowardly to attend the count because he says Essex police said there would be problems.

Essex Police issues statement as Nigel Farage Clacton by-election count safety claims disputed

As someone who retired to Europe a few years ago, people in the USA really don't get an accurate report of what is happening here.

Never seen a “sore winner”, and Farage is certainly not one.
Plus I wouldn't trust the anti white, pro illegals Essex Police further than I can throw em.

Ahh, Essex Police - not the same county force as the one that took 48 hours to discover that Anne Widdecombe* had been hit in the face by a hammer twenty-one times, and not fallen off her chair while eating lunch?
Not the same force that decided when persons unknown fire-bombed Nigel's house that it was a random burglary gone wrong?
Not the same force that decided the murderer of David Amess* acted alone when his daugther says there is evidence he was part of a conspiracy?
* both outspoken Catholics - but no need to make any connection, of course?

Not to mention the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal-Democrats, and Greens were too cowardly to even attend the election!

We don’t get accurate reporting in the US either. It’s all biased and lies.

Nigel Farage does not face a formal criminal corruption charge, but rather parliamentary and regulatory investigations into whether he failed to properly declare millions of pounds in personal financial gifts and political benefits from wealthy donors ahead of his election to the House of Commons.

The Core Allegations:

The £5 Million Crypto Gift: Farage faced a parliamentary standards investigation over an undisclosed £5 million personal gift from cryptocurrency billionaire and major political donor Christopher Harborne.

Support from a Convicted Fraudster: Reports by The Sunday Times revealed that George Cottrell—an ally who pleaded guilty to wire fraud in the United States in 2017—provided Farage with financial benefits in the 12 months leading up to the 2024 general election.

Undeclared Benefits: This alleged support included paying for private security, drivers, social media staff, and providing access to a luxury London flat near Buckingham Palace, which critics argue should have been declared under parliamentary transparency rules.

The Rules and ScrutinyDisclosure Requirements:

Under the UK’s parliamentary code of conduct, newly elected MPs must register reportable financial interests or significant benefits worth more than £300 received in the 12 months prior to their election if they relate to political activities.

Police Referrals: Anti-corruption and political groups have reported the financial arrangements to the Metropolitan Police to see if the lack of transparency constitutes misconduct or a breach of public office duties, though formal criminal charges have not been brought.

Response

Denial of Wrongdoing: Farage has strongly denied any wrongdoing, insisting that he strictly followed all parliamentary rules and that the assistance was handled in a personal capacity before he was an MP.

Political Pushback: He has dismissed the investigations and media reports as an “establishment hit job” orchestrated by political opponents trying to target him and his party, Reform UK.

Lawfare is a favorite tactic of the left. We have seen it in Israel, France, Brazil, Germany, and the US.

Seems to me NO ONE in Europe is getting an “accurate report of what is happening [t]here”! Look at the numerous scandals recently of the police LYING about events in England and their tow tier justice system.
