Iran knew remarkably specific details about Trump's stay in Ankara during the NATO summit, including where he was staying and even which floor of the building he was on, according to two U.S. officials.
U.S. intelligence picked up multiple streams of information on July 8, including a specific threat against whichever aircraft was carrying the president and a report that someone near the summit had been spotted with a shoulder-fired missile.
Air Force One departed separately with senior administration officials, government employees, military personnel, and JOURNALISTS aboard.

The only thing funny about this episode is the journalists and their reaction to being left on AF1. It’s as if they should have been informed and blow the secret up.

I have always felt that the press should hire their own planes and not riding in AF1. That is not a right, it is a privilege that can be revoked. They can ESAD.

I was watching this periodically on Flightradar24. I saw something I thought was strange; the “Doomsday Plane” flew out of Sicily at around the same time Trump was supposed to leave Turkey. It flew with two Stratotankers. Southwest of England they met up with two more Stratotankers and the Stratotankers started flying loops, which I believe indicates they were refueling fighter escorts. Then the tankers flew away in different directions and the Doomsday Plane continued on across the Atlantic. I wondered at the time if they had smuggled Trump onto the Doomsday plane but apparently they did not.”
I’m still not sure they’re telling the exact truth of how Trump got out there, which I’m okay with.

I’d guess it’s somebody within the Secret Service. Not necessarily one of the POTUS personal detail, but somebody within the organization who has access to travel details. Didn’t a couple of anti-Trump dissidents from USSS get booted recently?
