The left would criminalize free speech here in the USA if they could get away with it.In September 2024, former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry stated that the First Amendment is a "major block" to stopping online disinformation during a World Economic Forum panel on green energy. He noted that it is difficult to build consensus or combat false narratives when people consume biased media because the U.S. Constitution prevents the government from simply eliminating those sources.
