Florida is taking its rivalry with New York straight to Times Square.

Florida is taking its rivalry with New York straight to Times Square.

A massive new billboard in the heart of Manhattan has a message for NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani: “Thanks for the jobs!”

The Florida Chamber of Commerce named Mamdani its “Economic Developer of the Year,” saying New York’s progressive tax policies are helping push businesses, wealth and residents toward the Sunshine State.

The Chamber says the campaign is about more than a little trolling — it’s meant to make a broader case for lower taxes and free enterprise as Florida continues to attract people and businesses from high-tax states.

And they picked one of New York City’s busiest corners to make sure the message gets noticed.

If it was written in Arabic or cartoon pictures it might reach more New Yorkers.

Rivalry? What “rivalry”??? Florida has left New York in the dust. There is no “rivalry”.

Florida is now a larger state that has a budget about half the size of New York’s...and Florida has a budget surplus. It manages to do this WITHOUT having a state income tax.

Islamic Commies play the long game. They believe when they elect enough of them nationwide, they will confiscate every state’s wealth eventually.

Don’t come to Florida with your NY attitude and your F’d-up politics. Stay n NY and enjoy the commie muslim you voted for. We don’t want or need you here.

FL is laughing now but NYC residents aren’t going to move there and suddenly start voting Republican.

Oh yes they will and they have.
Look at the margin of DeSantis victory between first and second terms, after massive influx of New Yorkers.

My neighbor is a NY transplant with the Union card to prove it. He’s now solidly red and listens to Country music, LOL.

Wow!

That hit a nerve.

I can feel Mamdani’s seething anger all the way in Ohio.

Now for the bad news...

Most New Yorkers still vote Democrat in Florida.

Psycho Spending is a contagious disease spread by the Democratic Party USA.

If Gothamites would vote for this, then why does Deep State have to steal NYC’s elections?..?

Agree!

It’s hilarious, but, will likely fly right over the heads of the majority of NYCers.

“Most New Yorkers still vote Democrat in Florida.”

That sounds true, but is it?

Since the flood of northern refugees began to seek safety in Florida (say since 2018) the state has flipped voter registrations from blue to red.

The R's now outnumber the socialists by 1.5 million voters.

It looks like Florida is getting the best of the worst New Yorkers. Still, caution is in order.
