The Top Twenty highest paid U.S. Athletes….Does the DSA consider them evil corporations?
Vanity

Out of the top twenty highest paid U.S. athletes, six are white.

FORBES: Total annual combined earnings $1.488 Billion. Salaries, prize money, off field endorsements. Will they be on Al-Sayad’s DSA “tax the rich” hit list? How about Mamdani’s Pied-a-terre tax?

“Does the DSA consider them evil corporations?”

Six of them, yes. The other 14 are obviously oppressed minorities.

Huh. No women or trannies on the list. That’s got to be something-ism, can’t be that they don’t generate the revenue.

Good point. Another issue, corporations pay employees, who in turn pay taxes, many assist with healthcare, they buy products, They also help fund foundations. If a corporation is forced out of business, there is a huge impact on many.

I wonder how many employees these high paid athletes have on their payroll. If an athlete is injured or retires, they are easily replaced by another burgeoning millionaire and are adored by fans.

Where Shotani, the $600 million baseball player? Also, DeShaun Watson had a guaranteed $250 million for the Browns, and he wound up being suspended for some games, injured for a bunch more, and performed poorly in all the rest, earning the WORST (for the team) contract of all time.

He is not a U.S. Athlete.
He is not a U.S. citizen, but he is an athlete on a U.S. team, so he could be considered a U.S. athlete. Well, I imagine DeShaun Watson is plenty U.S. Citizen.

Amazing. Jordan makes probably in the range of $40 million per year in “retirement.”
