A Mississippi police officer is being called out after taking an aggressive approach to finding out why a group of Black women was kicked out of a restaurant.
Tiffany Wilson and her friends were going to celebrate her mother’s birthday at Sippin Silo Wine Bar in Southaven, Mississippi, on Saturday.
“What should have been a simple visit to a local establishment to celebrate my mother’s birthday became one of the most RACIST, humiliating and unacceptable customer service experiences I have encountered,” Wilson said on Facebook.
A Seating Issue
According to the business, the party tried to reserve a table for a party of 10 on Friday. But Sippin Silo said it could not accommodate a party of that size.
The restaurant says that when the party arrived on Saturday, they requested a table for 10 again. But after they were denied, the women agreed that they would just need a table for six.
The restaurant accused the group of having additional people arrive after they were seated. But when they decided the space wouldn’t work, they left.

Do they (or does anyone) have chairs that can withstand such a heavy load?
Oh, I’m not disagreeing with you on any points, be it their playing of the race card or the comments by some of the posters... My post was strictly in regard to the police officer and what he will now go through, and my first hand experience from being involved in similar incidents.

There were pejorative racist comments made by posters because the people in question are black Americans. Regardless of the request by Jim Robinson which is on the page that a poster clicks on to submit a post. That doesn’t matter to you and other posters. You’re anonymous and don’t see an issue on posting such comments on someone else’s forum.
Your point doesn’t make sense. No one told you you couldn’t post or how to post. You got offended. Someone suggest if you feel offended leave. That has nothing to do with Jim or any posting rules.

I wrote it was not his call on me leaving.
And I then wrote that FR posting rules are clear (re: racist posts) - I should have made this latter point clear.

My understanding is that they never got seated because the rules are that booking that large of a party (they said 10) requires more than simply filling out a reservation online the day before. They didn’t submit a proper reservation, so they didn’t have one, so they didn’t get seated, so they screamed racism. Apparently made enough of a scene the cops were called. And we have no idea right now what happened with the cops before filming started.
Frankly, it’s a big nothing-burger and isn’t going anywhere. If it appears anywhere other than the ABS I’ll be shocked.
And he didn’t call for you to leave, which is what I said. He said if you’re offended feel free to leave. There’s a *real* difference.

A lot of us just don’t respond to anything furry says. There are a handful on the forum I won’t post to or read their posts at all. Like the old FR saying goes, “don’t feed the animals.”
Excellent point - it’s best to be as precise as possible.
“Got trespassed” means the cops took down their informatiom, and the owner/proprietor informed them that if they returned they would be subject to arrest. It’s a common term among cops.

When your party of 10 is the size of a party of 20 it doesn’t help when you need 2 chairs to seat your fat azz.
They took the iDs cause the place is going to ban them for life and trespass them if they come back. Standard procedure when you have to call cops to remove people.
You do realize that you saying something is racist doesn’t make it so...
