Revoke access to everyone who leaves govt. I don’t know how much simpler it can be.

I was an enlisted puke, and when I left the Air Force my security clearance expired. Also had to sign an NDA. Don’t understand why they don’t do this for more “important” people. If they need to know, or they need to be consulted, they can be read in.

It's eligibility for a clearance not the clearance. Anyone here's lost a chance to have one reinstated.

Agree. Former government employees use the security clearance as a way to make money.

Sure makes sense to me. Then let them reapply and task the VP with making the final decision. He needs something to do.
