Yeah, Drudge Report back then was solidly conservative. That’s where I found FreeRepublic’s link.

I registered under a different name around 2001-2002, but for some reason I lost access. So I lurked until about 5 years ago, and re-registered, and I’m still here. I absolutely love it here.

I too found FR from Drudge back in the 90’s but I lurked for quite a while.
