Anxiety, Fear, And Unanswered Treachery

I have long wondered if those who lived in pre-Revolutionary America knew somehow that they were living in capital-R Revolutionary times. What were they feeling in 1765, 1770, 1775? Did they know somehow, on some level, that a can’t-turn-back tipping point was near? The troubles were certainly ongoing. It’s not like they just woke up one day and wrote the Declaration to piss off King George. It had been building for quite a while, in very real and very lethal ways.

Are we in those times right now? And would we even know it if we were? Heaven knows our troubles have been brewing for a while. It’s almost daily that we are greeted with confirmation of corruption we pieced together years ago, but are only now getting official paperwork on. It’s as if the machinery of power is belching it out, too full for the table.

I thought it might be instructive to review just some of the treachery we’ve endured that’s gone unanswered. Mind you, this is just a partial list but it certainly reads like a “pre-Revolutionary” list to me.

2011: We learned about the ATF “gun walking” scandal Fast and Furious, when Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder purposely let guns “walk” into Mexico. One gun was implicated in the death of border agent, Brian Terry. Let’s be clear: Holder trusted the cartels with guns more than he trusted his fellow Americans. That’s what his actions told us. No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.

2012: Benghazi resulted in four dead Americans. Hillary Clinton smirked through her hearing. No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.

2013: Edward Snowden revealed the depth and breadth of the government’s illegal spying on Americans. No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.

No, we are not near a revolution, but we are gaining more serious problems while solving very few.

It's not a fault, it's a feature. destroying America takes a great deal of coordinated effort and it would be bad form to put the ring leaders in prison, so stop holding your breath, the guilty will continue to run free, collecting their taxpayer funded pensions and lying thru their teeth until the day they die.

“COVID” was the tipping point, the political/societal Rubicon. What direction things go from there is still unclear, but at the moment, it’s not looking too good.

What is brewing in this country more resembles the French Revolution than our own War for Independence. The political elites have been trampling over our fundamental rights for years if not decades without any accountability. It wouldn’t take much to spark our own storming of the Bastille and unleash a bloody revolution.

As the country continues moving steadily leftward, about half of Americans remain unaware of the risks ahead. They are focused on daily life and pay little attention to politics or current events.

If the day comes when there is not enough electricity to charge their phones or power their televisions, they may finally notice—but by then, it will be too late to escape the nightmare peacefully.

I beg to disagree. Just today I hear about another planned attempt on Trump’s life, this time in California by another crazy. It would be a miracle if he completes his term. If a successful culprit should arise and turn out to be a Commie Jihadist all bets are off. The confluence of these two grave threats to our Republic spells serious trouble for political procrastinators. We can see the threats gaining momentum in front of our eyes and our worthless government officials will not do what has to be done, which is to pass a law making these two activities illegal as anathemas to our Republic. When a government fails to act, there remains nothing stopping the People from taking charge. One thing is certain, American patriots will never allow either of these core and fatal threats to our Republic to come to fruition.

Much can be learned from the tenacity and endurance of the mullah regime in Iran. Despite the murder and impoverishment of its own citizens, this fanatical regime survives not only by the fervor of its mullah frontmen, but because over one hundred thousand insiders who may or may not share the fervor, control the military, the IRGC, the banking system, food supply, domestic energy supply and even retail outlets. These people have become enriched and know if they are actually somehow deposed, they face death.

Sadly in America the Left has seized control of the media, academia and much of the electoral machinery. They have actual power, mean to keep it and implement their agenda which is to destroy the American nation. They have fervor and the misguided financial and political support of many. Once in power, they will never surrender it.

Holder trusted the cartels with guns more than he trusted his fellow Americans.

Whether caused by a massive leftist conspiracy or an irrational collective fear of taking steps for self-defense, the shameful assault on our Second Amendment is the most serious threat to liberty in our time.

Every time a state, locality etc. takes another swipe at gun ownership; I feel the same as the author... and I clearly hear the voices of our founders.
