Hollywood bookkeepers have a 1,000 ways to hide profits when they want to. Streaming/Disc/Cable fees haven't even hit yet.

I have no interest in seeing the movie, but an Odyssey with a better cast, and more true to the source material would not necessarily do better at the box office. It's not the movie everyone was demanding be made.
