Canada - the new Mexico.
“New” Mexico?
Canada has always played this role. I commented about this role on FR when I was at State Farm 15+ years ago. My ancestors crossed back and forth from Montana to Alberta and Saskatewan, from British Columbia to Washington state. Most of the time there was on “Border Patrol” at the border to check who was coming and going.
I have worked beside many Indians and other British Commonwealth peoples who migrated to Canada, became Canadians and never worked in Canada...always worked in the States. They are no different from the Canadians who are of European ancestry who do the same thing....Canadians who work in the states of which I have worked beside many.
To see it a different way...look at how many Canadians work in Hollyweird, star in films shot in GA. We have ALWAYS had a fluid border. It is nothing new.
Wonder if Thanedar and Jayapal are linked to this in any way?
