Police have identified the naked nutjob who miraculously survived after jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge Sunday.
Galymzhan Abaildayev, 44, is facing several charges after he was filmed scaling the bridge’s north tower, stripping his clothes and leaping off the north tower on the Manhattan side of the iconic bridge into the East River.
The Brooklyn native also erected several flags on the top of the bridge before he jumped, including a Kazakhstan flag, sources told The Post.
Abaildayev was quickly fished out of the river by Harbor Unit cops and rushed to Bellevue somehow in stable condition.
He probably needed a nutjob after that impacting the water.

That interview would be interesting. Many years ago a study was made of jumpers from the Golden Gate Bridge, a popular place to commit suicide. Ninety nine percent of the jumpers died but about one percent somehow survived and like this guy were fished out of the bay. What was interesting was that all the survivors related that when they finally let go and began to fall, they had a moment of clarity and thought “What have I done” That clarity for some didn’t last and they went on to commit suicide. Impossible to know just why an individual commits suicide or what can be really done to stop them.

A documentary was made about suicides on the golden gate.
If you decide to watch it be advised, it’s very dark and shows actual jumpers.....it was very disturbing to me.
