What? They get to do that without providing the “asylum seeker” a place to stay, food, medical care and a lawyer to present his case before an immigration judge?

Am I supposed to believe that these people swam 3 miles? I do not. It is more likely that they came by boat and got out a few hundred yards from shore and waded in.

These folks were not asylum seekers (An asylum seeker is a person who has left their country and is seeking protection from persecution and serious human rights violations in another country). They were fleeing a society where you have to get a job to survive.
