The WNBA is an activist league.
Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham are basketball players rather than activists.
Not activist enough to allow men to play on their teams though. They know damn well this would be the end of women's basketball as the rosters fill up with nobody other than 6'7" troons. (Admittedly, ratings would likely increase.)
Best I can tell, the only "transgender" player in the WNBA was Layshia Clarendon, who was born a female and then bravely changed her identity to "non-binary."
