US embassies in Jerusalem and other Middle Eastern capitals call on citizens in the Middle East to avoid travel to the Middle East and be ready to depart due to the “potential for unforeseen escalation” in the conflict with Iran.

“Due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation,” embassies from Cairo eastward say in identical messages published on their respective websites.

“The Iranian regime is unpredictable, as seen by its recent decisions to attack areas in the region without warning or provocations as well as to expand attacks to areas not previously targeted (such as Egypt),” the messages say.

“Americans in the region should consider departing, or be prepared to depart should there be escalation,” say the messages, noting that travel may be disrupted due to the tension.

“Americans outside the Middle East should seriously reconsider travel to and through the region,” the messages add. “Those who do travel to or from the region should monitor information about airport and airline operations.”

The embassies remain open “for routine American citizens and visa services,” they say.

Sometimes it seems that maybe Iran already has one or two A-bombs and is just trying to make up its mind how to use them.

If Iran uses an A bomb at all, they’re finished. Tehran will become a glass parking lot.

True, and I wonder if they have tried to figure out a devious way around that. Or if they tell themselves “We have had cities destroyed before over our three thousand years of history. Allah will make everything right in the end.”

My hope is that we have denied regime change in order to maximize our strategy.

Hopefully we are actively arming and training an insurgency.

The overthrow of Irans government is essential to our future.

Israel keeps flaunting the myth of “sharing” its intelligence, as US tax dollars pour into Israel:
<><>billions of US tax dollars in military aid,
<><>deploying US naval destroyers and advanced air defense systems
<><>the US intercepting incoming rockets and ballistic missiles aimed at Israel.
<><>developing defense systems like the Israeli Iron Dome-—wholly financed by US taxpayers.

There is no “formal mutual defense treaty” that requires the U.S. to enter wars on Israel’s behalf but
rest assured, the persistent endless Israeli lobbies will get the obedient US Congress to rectify that.

Key aspects of this military relationship include Missile Defense:
<><>deploying US Navy destroyers to shoot down ballistic missiles and drones targeting Israel.
<><>US placing anti-missile batteries, the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), in Israel
<><>deploying associated US troops on the ground.

Resource Constraints Surface: The extensive unlimited use of taxpayer-financed US defense assets to protect Israel has led to resource constraints.

The US taxpayer provides massive billions of assistance to Israel, primarily allocated through long-term “memorandums of understanding” intensely lobbied for by Israel.

While the US is forced to act as Israel’s primary strategic partner, due to fierce, unceasing Israeli lobbies, the extent and conditions of this military protection face growing scrutiny.

Top US commanders have warned the Pentagon that the high operational tempo is stretching US air defense fleets thin, forcing difficult decisions between prioritizing “defense of vulnerable US families at home”......or “protecting” Israel.
