Anyway all this happened in Athens....and eventually got a permit to transport the coffin and embalmed contents to the Greek island of Ikaria.
Am waiting now for my final send off as am in a similar situation at age 84....so I had a good run.
Including hitch hiking from Calcutta through India...Pakistan...crossing the border near Herat into Afghanistan...Iran ...Turkey...to Greece,
