Agreed. So far, I’m underwhelmed by AI’s contribution to the human conversation.

That's because people keep asking things of it and not telling it what to do. It's about prompting, and most folks just aren't in to creating a good prompt. Hallucinations are caused by ambiguous prompts creating uncertainty in the Agent. Garbage in, garbage out as they say. Make the robot work for you. It's not a friend or companion. It's a tool.
