I typed that from memory, you could say I was a big Doors fan.

I'm about the same age. My older brother went off to college in 1970 and he was a big doors fan. Also, the Allman Brothers. Both of which I became a fan. But that was when music was real ... and GOOD!

Never had a clue what half of the Doors' songs were about, but I knew it was cool and I knew I liked it. (turns out that much of it was about sex and drugs, but in the 5th grade, I knew next to nothing about both).
