Just go back and read “1984” and “Animal Farm” and “Brave New World” and many other books that predicted this would happen. We just didn’t listen.

Back in the 1970s when I was in high school, these books were required reading, ostensibly to educate us about the dangers of government overreach.

Somewhere along the line the lessons of these novels were dropped and replaced with leftwing indoctrination. We are now harvesting the bitter fruit of that switch.
