Are there any limits to when individuals can decide it’s important and necessary to destroy public property?

You sound like a lib, getting to decide form yourself when the law does not need to be obeyed

Ya when they can guarantee those cameras are only used in a public setting and the community has accepted that usage. That is not currently the case with those cameras.

I don’t like them, but I understand the constitutionality in public. The problem, specifically for me, is many are consistently viewing into private spaces as well.

It may be a rarity that an issue arises, but for me even at that it should never be accepted, a small right overlooked leads to large abuses.

I am from a lib as you will find BTW, a conservative should be very protective of privacy, that is not a liberal issue.

Oh, I mean to say I am as far from a lib as you are likely to find.

My operative framework for this comes from Benjamin Franklin who once said:

“Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
