You’re partially right, Leroy Brown. But in reality Englewood on the South Side, and Austin on the West Side are far more dangerous than Beverly or Mt Greenwood. In fact, lots of CPD and CFD reside in the Mt Greenwood neighborhood.
I’m only an observer from afar and that song is over 50 years old now. I can imagine some things have changed since.
