It will improve. A decade ago, I freelanced at $40/hour to check machine translations of e-mail for a law firm. It was getting better then and it is a lot better now. My beef is that too much of corporate doesn't understand the limitations yet and thinks it can perform functions which it clearly cannot.

For the jagoffs who think work will become optional, beware! Should that happen, the state may very well see you as a parasite to be eliminated rather than a useful cog in the machine.
