How the Left Naturalizes Sedition

Yuri Bezmenov decided he wanted out of the KGB and the Soviet system some 56 years ago while serving in New Delhi, India. Disguising himself as an American hippie, he defected to the U.S. Embassy and debriefed with the CIA.

It was decided that Bezmenov should settle in Canada under a new name for a while. Bezmenov came back to the U.S. in 1980 with a mission to educate people about Soviet "ideological subversion," which is the basic systematic methodology communists use to take down countries and establish Marxist-Leninist socialist-type states.

More recently, a Chinese defector immigrant, Xi Van Fleet, has been on a crusade to warn Americans about the parallels between what is happening in America today and what Mao did in the Chinese Cultural Revolution.

The systematic plan Bezmenov revealed involves four fluid stages of communist subversion: 1) Demoralization, 2) Destabilization, 3) Crisis, and 4) Normalization. In Mao’s America, Xi Van Fleet explains how Mao’s destruction of the “Four Olds” (old ideas, old culture, old customs, and old habits) is being replicated by today’s leftist cancel culture in the U.S., which, she says, will end what is left of freedom in America if not stopped.

Demoralization

In Bezmenov’s analysis, the first stage, demoralization, can take a generation or more. One of its main thrusts is to undermine the Judeo-Christian beliefs, customs, habits, and traditions that have been foundational to America; these parallel the “Four Olds” that Mao destroyed in China.

Included in customs and traditions is the destruction of the family, which communists want to replace with the state. Xi Van Fleet points out that just as the Chinese Cultural Revolution turned children against their parents, American families are under increasing attack. Government welfare programs that reward single mothers with more money by having more children

Fortunately, it appears the recent speeches by President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller show they all got the memo from America’s second president, John Adams, who unequivocally warned, “Liberty once lost is lost forever.” It is time to turn the tables on the destroyers.

Nothing good has come from the left.
Nothing! Ever!
Name one positive trait of the left.
I’ll wait…

The very important difference is We The People have 25M AR-15’s and countless other firearms.

We still have more guns than the government……..and it isn’t particularly close.

I turn 64 this summer. Regretably, I fully expect to be firing on fellow Americans in my lifetime. It all depends on what the crazies want to do. I am not happy about it and if we can remain Godly, then His Plan will prevail. But for me personally, I have run out of cheeks to turn.

Government controls distribution of food, potable water, and electricity and they know it, with transportation a level down. If you think ARs are enough to overcome that systematically, good luck organizing and sustaining anything with cameras on every street, attack drones, etc.

Those committed to liberty have a poor grip on logistics.

Much of the damage is done by manipulating the language. The left couches their agenda in flowery euphemisms that the uninitiated simply gloss over because they sound “beneficial”. The left leaders would argue they are for equity, inclusion, unity, democracy, representation, ballot access, voter enfranchisement and long time favorite double speak-Choice.

Your argument presupposes that all functionaries of the state would act in unison. What if they don’t?

Around one quarter of US Army offices resigned their commissions to join the confederacy. Likewise military officers largely split in the same percentage with White factions favored over Red in the Russian Civil War.

Recall that at Tiananmen Square, the Chinese military had to bring in units from outside the local area and tell them that the demonstrators were subversive outsiders for fear of the local troops refusing to shoot their own. Reports have surfaced that the Islamic regime in Iran brought in Arabs to slaughter unarmed protestors earlier this year.

In the unlikely event of such a conflict happening here, the outcome would largely be dependent on the level of popular support given to one side or another. Those cameras you mentioned might stop functioning if local operators were opposed to an authoritative regime conducting surveillance on the people. Local commissars charged with overseeing vast American farmlands may begin disappearing at night. Every shipment of foodstuffs would need armed guards, some of whom may abandon the train along the way.

If the state is always invincible, then revolutions would never succeed.

Every bureaucracy in the country, even in conservative states, is heavily, if not overwhelmingly populated with Democrats.

Useless people don't seek real jobs and desire the security of a government position.

The military is not any part of State or local government function, especially the election rigging apparatus. Police have been significantly captured by union interests. They were once stalwarts as a group, but have turned in recent years, especially here in California.

The police in the examples I cited in our own and the Russian civil war show that loyalties can change. Same thing with the English civil war. I’m not sure what you’re trying to argue because it seems to me your reaction to the other poster dealt with on conflict between a group opposing government and those in power. I didn’t think the original article was referring to any local action, but a systemic effort to change the form of national government. To assume that all governmental employees will act as one at any level in my opinion is not to be taken as a hard and fast rule throughout all situations.

Socialism integrates every function of government and industry. I'm reading now about how Hugo Chavez took over the levers of power in Venezuela, that were themselves developed over the preceding 30 years with the slow nationalization of the oil industry. I've witnessed much of the same thing here in California. That grip on power deepens as productive people flee. It becomes more ubiquitous within law enforcement agencies. The "social justice" agenda manifests nearly uniformly here these days.
