Not living in the Southern Hemisphere, I have never seen the LMC, but I have seen, under really dark skies, M31 the Andromeda galaxy, and even though it’s a little harder to see, M33, the Pinwheel galaxy in Triangulum, both in the Northern Hemisphere.
I’ll bet the LMC is a spectacular sight, compared to those….
