That was my first thought as well. Lots of crazy people out there. Recall Mark Chapman, who shot John Lennon. He did it for a number of muddled reasons, one of which was to impress actress Jodie Foster.
So, yeah. I’m sure this Spanish guy will be checked for weapons. But a younger guy’s fist can quickly do a lot of damage to an older person.
Side point: This Spanish guy’s attitude is probably a result of relentless leftist propaganda. Propaganda works.
