Think the F-4s flew low? You should have seen the A-4s- they would actually fly so low that the flame from the napalm would be in the vortices behind the wing roots and the tail section and pilot would do a snap roll that extinguished the flames!

I’ve seen A-4s lots of times. On 10 December 1966, one of those low-flying muthas dropped 2 250lb bombs right in the middle of my company. In the blink of an eye, we went from 6 Corpsmen to only 2. He and I still talk about that day.
