What is with the hate and derision of Scott Bessent on this thread?
Is it just people being flip and frivolous about his comment? Because it seems like something else.
Not sure I understand what the dynamic is here. He is a solid component of this administration, doing a great job, and we are lucky he is the Secretary of the Treasury.
I understand people wanting proof that the gold is there but they couldn’t tell you what kind of proof is good enough. There is no way to satisfy them.
