If the news reports are accurate, which they rarely are, it would lead me to believe he had a dissecting aortic anyurism that burst. He would have been unconscious in a minutes or less and painless. Not a bad way to die.

I’ve known two people who had Aortic Aneurysms who went the same way - both males. The difference may be that they had known about them and the doctors kept track of the size but even then nothing was done to correct them. Maybe Lindsey Graham had never learned about his but with the family heart disease history, that would seem unlikely. I have to agree with you, I wouldn’t mind going that fast....I just spent 3 days in the hospital over the 4th and I dread having to see the inside of a hospital ever again as a patient..Let me go right here at the computer with thunder and lightning outside - just like I saw from the hospital room window last week...
Correct except for the painless part. The first thing lindsey likely experienced was intense chest pain before he was rendered unconscious. But it would be quick.
