They aren’t separate. They work together. They overthrew the Shah together. The Chinese are propping up Iran with their economic lifeline buying oil and selling war materiel. They both hold their own people hostage, starve them, and spend everything on themselves and world conquest. They both openly embrace lying to get what you want.
They both back-stab their allies after and often while their allies fight and beat their stronger enemies, like both the Nazis and the Soviets did when they signed their “non-aggression pact”, the Shiites did after the Iran war, the communists in the French resistance did, and the communists in China did in WWII.
