“greatest games in World Cup history”
Run run run run run run run kick run run run kick run run run kick, run run run
It was a great game. Form the atmosphere, to the scoring, pace, goals, and red cards it was full of anxiety for any fan of the sport, especially for those of the two teams.
Baseball: wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, throw, wait, wait, wait, wait, throw/hit/caught/out, wait, wait, wait, ...
Football: play starts for a few seconds, stops, wait, wait, wait, wait, timeout, wait, wait,
Basketball: jog, jog, jog, jog, 3 point shot, jog, jog, jog 3 point shot....
Hockey: ...well, I have no issue with hockey :)
That said, I appreciate the chess match of American Football. I’m informed of the nuances of baseball. Basketball is huge. All sports have issues, as well as the nuances of understanding the game, soccer being no different. The fact that each player runs about 10Km, as wind sprints, per game is a stamina & fitness marvel - while being able to pass a ball 60m in the air, while running, to another player in-stride, that may volley the ball into a top corner of the goal is remarkable talent. It’s incredibly difficult.
To me, it’s like watching a basketball game on a bigger field.
And the score ends up 2-0.
Football is just more fun to watch.
Dribble dribble pass
Dribble dribble pass
And kick it back to the same person.
They don’t seem to have a plan.
Fall down and act like you’re hurt.
