Politico Laughably Kvetches About America 250 Fireworks Pollution
Newsbusters ^ | July 4, 2026 | P.J. Gladnick

If you want to know why Politico risked the inevitable mockery that will ensue by whining absurdly about the supposed dangers posed to the environment by the America 250 fireworks the answer is easily supplied by simply reading the first word of the title of their Friday KvetchFest, "Trump plans record fireworks show, internal docs warn of smoky skies."

Substitute the name of any Democrat president such as Clinton or Obama or Autopen and the silly story by the Politico troika of Alex Guillen, Miranda Willson, and Ariel Wittenberg would have been nonexistent. Yes, they just can't allow President Donald Trump to enjoy along with thousands of spectators what they consider to be a triumphal moment without raining on the parade. TDS is just that powerful, especially at Politico.

Now let us watch the Politico team make an attempt at a thin veneer of concern over supposed fireworks pollution despite us (and them) knowing what this is really all about:

Politico is still smarting over the loss of their AID money disguised as high end subscriptions.

Any pollution event should be measured by the amount of pollution generated to hold a global warning conference (GWC) so that that the average person can decide if the pollution generated is significant enough to worry about.

So, how GWCs were generated by the America 250 fireworks?

Bad news politico......if every person in America stopped driving it would make ZERO difference.

Russia, China and North Korea couldn’t give two shits about environmental issues....
So get your mind right.

Letter from John Adams to Abigail Adams, 3 July 1776, "Had a Declaration..."

...I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more...

The president, our service personnel, law enforcement, volunteers, Christopher Maccio, the honorees, all involved delivered in very fine fashion, despite the curveball the weather threw them.

It was a glorious day and evening.

And God bless them for it.

Politico also is the publication that pisses all over Thanksgiving with the article about how you shouldn’t eat turkey and how the average Thanksgiving meal is why America is obese. These articles, which get trotted out for every holiday, are anti-Americanism at is reflexive worst.

BTW, Mr. President, we haven’t been able to attend an airshow in quite a while.

That one yesterday was mighty fine, wasn’t it...

This is cool...

On the company who put on that show for the ages...

Pennsylvania company to lead record-breaking fireworks display in Washington on July 4 Pyrotecnico, a New Castle-based company, is behind the massive fireworks show to celebrate America's 250th anniversary on Independence Day

One last thing....

The folks who designed the stage/set, they did a fabulous job.

That was gorgeous.

Kinda sad, that.

The official “pollution” objection eventually comes around to CO2 “pollution”, AKA global warming. This originates with the Obama regulation re-defining CO2 as a pollutant — so he could throw money at scams like Solyndra.

Anyhoo, CO2 is not a pollutant. If all the CO2 were to be magically scrubbed from the atmosphere all animals would die within hours and plants within days. It is as essential to life as oxygen. It is the concentration that is the issue.

That said, above 400ppm the supposed temperature effect upon earth levels off. Above 1200ppm most of our food crops go into overdrive and deliver bumper crops — eliminating starvation across the planet.

So, why all the byatchin? Oh, ‘cause the fear factor driving liberals would disappear? Or, would globalists no longer hold leverage on food supplies?

Follow the damned money!

Oh, the sad bit: our enemies are right.

I’d rate their complaint at 250 mega-Karens. Enough to completely annoy a large city.

And don’t forget India.

India ranks fifth globally in terms of air pollution, with many of its cities being among the most polluted in the world. In 2024, it had 74 of the 100 most polluted cities, with Delhi being the most polluted capital city.
