146 Venezuelan nationals who landed in Caracas after being deported from the U.S. on Wednesday.
Passengers on that plane, which included women and children, were being processed in a guarded hotel in La Guaira when powerful twin earthquakes struck, according to family members. The building they were in pancaked.

Not surprised Trump is blamed for the earthquake.
Good thing we don’t have a Dem in office - like George W. Bush - who’d offer up TPS to 100s of thousands of Venezuelan “victims” - same as was offered El Salvadorans after an earthquake in 2001 - “temporary” = 25 years ago and they’re still here. And, that was the second one! They were offered TPS also in 1990.
This gave the Salvadorans plenty of time to foment MS-13, a vicious gang formed in Los Angeles and spread out all over the U.S.
If we could deport NPR to an active earthquake zone that would be great.

Likely they would have died just the same, unknown to the US media, if they had not come illegally.
If they had stayed home in the first place, they probably would still be alive.
