This video from Black Conservative Perspective criticizes the WNBA for its handling of physical play against Caitlin Clark. The creator argues that Clark is being unfairly targeted by fellow players due to professional jealousy and her identity as a straight, white woman (2:09 - 2:37, 18:03 - 18:27).
Key points discussed in the video:
The Incident: The video highlights a specific play where Phoenix Mercury player Alyssa Thomas made contact with Caitlin Clark's throat during a loose-ball scramble (4:22 - 4:44). The league subsequently assessed Thomas a one-game suspension for this "reckless" act (16:54).
Calls for Protection: The host contends that the WNBA has failed to protect its biggest star, arguing that if Clark were to leave the league, its viewership and financial growth would suffer significantly (6:31 - 7:02).
Criticism of the League: The creator suggests that the WNBA is not doing enough to address what he views as "dirty play" and "bullying" on the court, arguing that officiating has been inconsistent or biased (9:04 - 9:35, 11:30 - 11:55).
Proposed Solution: The host advocates for a massive fan boycott of the WNBA to force the league to change its approach and ensure Clark is protected from further physical harm (19:34 - 20:20).
Media Commentary: The video also addresses public reactions to the situation, pushing back against those who describe the tension as a "conspiracy theory" or argue that Clark simply needs to "toughen up" (12:43 - 13:02, 17:07 - 1

I hope she has trusted security. I imagine the hood rats in the wnba or a hood rat fan will pull a Karmelo.
“fist to the throat”
I would think that might be a criminal offense.
A fist is very strange. One needs to keep one’s hands open to be able grab the ball.
I haven’t seen the video.
The race of the player doing the excessive roughness on the top WNBA player is irrelevant; the cheap shots are cheap shots no matter who does it.
Maybe there was a time when few “white” females were very top WNBA players, and now there is one and jealously rears its ugly head.
For today’s version of pro basketball, doesn’t the occasional throat punch happen in both men and women teams?
I don’t watch basketball, but I often hear of how physical and rough it has been allowed to become.
Sort of like Hockey, but without the ice and the sticks.
Am I wrong about that? Is it still seen as an offense, worthy of penalty?
Doesn’t justify the savages doing what they do.
“ She’s awful sneaky about it but she’s very handsy, grabby and taunts a lot when she plays.”
Like Larry Bird.
Gangsta Hoes need to get some of their own.
Whutchu talkin bout? Dey dindu nuffin.
Toxic Masculinity.
The NBA needs to stop funding the WNBA.
Suspended. One game.
How being fined one season of salary. You know, forcing the racist to work for free. 8<)
There are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of videos CELEBRATING Larry Bird for the exact same thing.
Instead of a boycott, just organize protests outside of the venues. There will be many more people outside protesting than inside.
That is not unusual. What people are talking about is not the usual play trash talk etc, this is players actually trying to physically hurt her to get her out of the game.
If they had a few decent refs and a commissioner, these players would receive tight fouling and traveling calls their next five to ten games. Any guff, they would be tossed.
I saw the video. It looked like attempted murder to me.
I hear you. I wonder, though, if that is not part of the game and also somewhat self defense. My own opinion, she does not start things but is responding.
