I used to think that was a real possibility. After all, Reform is surging. But now there’s Restore to split the opposition vote. The hapless Tories will siphon off some opposition votes, too.

What’s left? A revolution? The success of that would depend on what the British Army would do.

If I had to bet, I’d reluctantly bet that Britain’s slide into the gutter is irreversible.
