When we live in CA, both in Santa Monica and San Francisco, we went through so many quakes we could accurately say, “That was a 4.5 and “That was a 3.9. They stopped being terrifying very soon after we moved there. HoHum. Knew when we had to hold rhe full-lwngth mirror to the wall, etc.
Quakes were kind of fun in the bathtub, though.
