The United States Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, Stephen Miller:

“The reason why those Americans in North Carolina, those mothers, those fathers, those precious little children, were left to die begging their government for help that never came is because the Democrats turned FEMA into an illegal alien resettlement agency.”

Meaning:

The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left fathers to die in Maui.

The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left mothers to die in East Palestine, Ohio.

The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left children to die in North Carolina.

BUT FEMA had an extra $1 BILLION to spend on illegals, including Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP, and voter registration.

And, as a bonus, they complain that Elon Musk is now a trillionaire.

The problem is that there are probably no signatures or other ways to trace the decisions and actions.

The best way to handle this is to fire all FEMA employees and then carefully hire replacements. Given the sick minds of liberals, careful hiring will be require Divine Intervention or perhaps physic abilities.

This is utter BS. If your emergency plan is FEMA you are delusional. Having family, friends, and clients in “the hills” I can say that absolutely none of them were expecting FEMA to help them.

As much as I would love to blame FEMA because they were/were woke and run by progs I hold anyone who puts their safety and that of their loved ones in the hands of the federal government in even greater contempt.

I’m as hardcore conservative as it gets, but aren’t there FEMA employees who are the equivalent of grunts in the military who have no say about anything other than doing various menial jobs they were hired to do? It’s the executive level trash that was running FEMA that should not only be fired but investigated and prosecuted for that atrocity. And Biden would be a good place to start!

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – FEMA announced an additional $298 million this week for nearly 70 recovery and mitigation projects to help North Carolina communities recover from Hurricane Helene and past disasters.

Many of these projects are part of the more than $5 billion provided by FEMA to support disaster survivors, North Carolina and local communities as they work to rebuild.

FEMA, along with our federal partners, are on track to provide approximately $3 billion towards Maui wildfire recovery. This includes more than $1.3 billion in mission assignments to expedite recovery through debris removal and disposal, temporary housing, school construction, and infrastructure repair.

FEMA Individual Assistance and Public Assistance programs support community efforts focused on long-term recovery. As part of FEMA’s continued commitment to Maui, the agency will be hiring more than 120 staff to support a newly established Joint Recovery Office for Maui County to lead efforts.

9th amendment: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

10th amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Together these spell out that if the rest of the Constitution does not expressly delegate some power and authorize the Federal government to exercise it, the Federal government is forbidden from usurping that power from the People (where it resides by default) or the States (if delegated to them in the state constitutions).

Disaster relief, charity and the like are not powers authorized to the federal government. As such they are the responsibility and privilege of the People to handle, and we do so through innumerable efforts ranging from individual help to (voluntarily supported) major international organizations like the Red Cross. And we do so far more efficiently and without the fraud and waste of running money through central government to fund such efforts.

Here in Florida FEMA has paid my county for two hurricane clean-ups.

The last came within a few weeks and was of good quality. Claw tractors picked up storm debris and placed it in trucks and their trailers.

Tarps and packaged meals were made available at a county site. One of my neighbors got two tarps.

There was massive flooding miles inland and homes near the Intercoastal had their first floors flooded. I saw trailers at one near sea level trailer park being torn down a few months later.

I have no complaints with FEMA’s last response. The previous one was pretty good. My neighbor’s final pile wasn’t removed. I told her there was no reason why it wasn’t taken in the final pass and I told her to drive down the street to ask that it get picked up. She had to pay $200 weeks later for a special pickup get it removed.
