Kate Winslet is proud to say she’s aging naturally.
The “Titanic” actress, 50, weighed in on the topic of plastic surgery as she confirmed that she “hasn’t got anything” done or injected into her face...
Winslet called it “devastating” that so many people, specifically other women in Hollywood, are undergoing cosmetic procedures and using weight loss drugs...
“Some are making choices to be themselves, others do everything they can to not be themselves,” the Oscar winner continued. “And do they know what they are putting in? The disregard for one’s health is terrifying. It bothers me now more than ever. It is f–king chaos out there.”
Winslet noted that she’s upset ... by “people who save up for Botox or the shit they put in their lips.”
“My favorite thing is when your hands get old,” she said, after showing the reporter lines on her face to prove she hasn’t gotten botox. “That’s life, in your hands.”
“Some of the most beautiful women I know are over 70 and what upsets me is that young women have no concept of what being beautiful actually is,” she shared.
To support her argument, the “Mare of Easttown” star mentioned seeing a young woman on a BBC news article about a car crash who “looked like a cartoon.”
Winslet also confirmed that she still takes public transportation in London and has noticed nobody looks up from their phones.
“It’s heartbreaking,” she said. “Nobody’s looking into the f—ing world any more.”

A bit too defensive are we?
80 years old but still an adolescent.
I’ve heard the exact opposite.
CC
They look like ducks.
Mmmmm.....
Honey, I've been judged by better people than you. Now stop being a pest and go bother someone else.
Good for her. I dread seeing “then and now” photos of once very beautiful women who are now ugly because of surgery and botox. They are not fooling anyone.
That’s because the Marines have such an adroit command of all the parts of speech.
It’s not cussing, but among the highest forms of literary art to use the same four letter word as a noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, conjunction and preposition in the same sentence.
How original.
And are the one who engaged me.
Swearing all the time and using them as nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives is low intellect.
Using them sparingly for specific emphasis in certain instances, works well.
Idont think it’s a sense of entitlement—ive had the same reaction to all the plastic surgery by both men and women. Kate stated she is concerned about the health aspects as am I, that it is completely unnatural thing to do, that it looks horrible a lot of the time and particularly for women it projects low self esteem. Women like Audrey Hepburn who never had cosmetic work and aged beautifully are the ones that should be admired not the ones that look like Freaks like Nicole Kidman who looks like a freak and is so scary looking I can’t watch anything she is in.
The bible never said you can’t swear. It did say not to use God’s name as a swear.
women want to be ugly get plastic surgery. unless you are repairing major damage or have a real birth defect. I have never seen plastic surgery as making some one actually look substantially Better most times the person actually looks worse after the surgery
Either way she still walks around with a fake phony face. Either lots of makeup or injections and fillers or facelift and necklift.
In the end, it makes no sense to argue one type of fakery is good and another bad. Fake is fake. Vanity is vanity.
DUCK SEASON
She’s right. Aging happens.. accept it gracefully..
That’s good.
Expressing one’s opinion should be a right too.
If you require the rest of the world to constantly affirm your choices you are quite the snowflake.
If you are an adult you really shouldn’t care what someone thinks about your choices. Especially when their comments are general and not directed at anyone personally.
I wonder if the style will change based on the massive amounts of “fatigue” that has set in. Also I hear tattoos are on their way out, thank goodness!
