And people wonder why malls are dying all over the place.
Last time I walked in to the only mall on my side if town, I was the minority.
They’re like locusts....the decend on a place en mass, strip it clean and move on.
The fact that they decry something called “food deserts” is a perfect example.
Theres a reason grocery and other stores pull out of urban areas.
The pilferage isn’t cost effective.
It would be understandable if foot traffic drops off at this mall. This shooting is certainly a big story in the local area.
It would not be surprising if critical numbers of people decided, that it’s too dangerous to go to that mall. Down the road look for store closures. Then, the smaller the mall may enter a death spiral.
