Did you whine when any President attended games? No POTUS has ever attended an NBA Finals game. Trump last attended an NBA game in 2014. It is a streak of no attendance I would prefer he had continued.
I get why he wants to go (some of it is about himself, just like the July 4th celebration). I just see more downside than upside.
