In my experiences, areas with large Hispanic populations are playing more soccer than other sports. There’s a county park in South Florida I used to play softball at years ago…the softball fields have been changed to soccer fields and are full every evening and weekend.
Basketball is dropping rapidly. It is boring to almost everyone now. All 3’s all the time.
