The straight six, with dual OHC, is a simpler, more reliable, and lighter setup with approximately the same HP to displacement ratio.

A lot of people would love to see the return of Chrysler's most famous V-6, the Slant-Six 225 (before it was detuned in the '70s).

But it wasn’t a v6 it was an inline 6 slanted to the side to allow for a lower hood line
