I respectfully submit that this is just more fake news.
It couldn’t possibly be real with USN USAF deployed right there.

Perhaps Iran’s naval escort forces are due to ‘volunteer’ as target objects for America’s overflight forces??

Tehran’s new authority seeking to create a permanent toll system along the vital passageway. Sounds like something Trump would do and I bet Trump would charge a lot more if he had control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Oddly this is totally believable but odd. A supertanker with 2 million barrels of oil is worth about 160 million dollars. On a business basis it is totally logical to pay the bribe. But the strait is closed to any tankers from Iran.
Iran can not offer safe passage out as we have blocked it. We are allowing non Iranian passage in and out, but the straits are not truly open yet.

Blockade any ship that pays a toll to the Iranians.
You pay the toll and you’re going nowhere. We’ll see to that.

"The PGSA’s remarks came as the IRGC announced that its naval forces have escorted 24 vessels through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours." The IRGC navy is awesome!

IF they are paying to get out, will we allow the sanctioned oil to reach port?
IF they are paying to get out, will they pay to get back in? Or find another supplier?
