Thanks for posting. I found it very interesting, even though I hate baseball, except when I need a nap I will put it on in the background and let the world’s most boring sport lead me to a peaceful snooze.
They are horrible diseases (ALS, and baseball).
Seriously though, ALS is a tragedy. I knew a great family man who declined so quickly.
Baseball is a horrible disease? If you understand it and recognize the failures of the people who play and determine the rules, you’d know why it is a good game that man has ruined. And the players haven’t helped with the purity of the game trying to make better salaries with false successes.
Go to a little league game and watch the kids play their hearts out just to get the opportunity and it might change your mind. That is if the coaches don’t ruin it at that level also by trying to win rather than teaching fundamentals, sportsmanship, and the proper mental frame of mind of why they are there...to play. MLB is not called “the show” for nothing.
